In stainless steel dust removal, the content of iron usually exceeds 60%, while the content of chromium and nickel is relatively high. In addition, it also contains small amounts of elements such as manganese, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, phosphorus, etc. Among these components, metal oxides are one of the main components of dust removal, and high-temperature dust and oil pollution are also its components.
For the recovery of valuable metals from stainless steel dust, DC electric Arc Furnace smelting can be used. The specific method is to mix the dust removal ash, reducing agent, and slag making agent in a certain proportion to form blocks, and then add the blocks to the DC electric arc furnace for melting reduction. The final metal alloy is obtained, and the slag can be made into water quenched slag, which is ultimately sold to cement plants or directly buried.
