The DC smoothing reactor is very important for the rectifier power supply, as it has two functions: firstly, to make the output current of the rectifier power supply smooth and stable; Secondly, when the rectifier element is directly connected to a short circuit, the growth rate of the short-circuit current and the maximum short-circuit current are limited. If the parameter design of the DC smoothing reactor is unreasonable, the iron core material is poor, or the manufacturing process is not up to standard, it will have a great impact on the reliability of the rectifier power supply. Based on our more than ten years of experience in producing rectifier power supplies, we can fully optimize the parameters of DC smoothing reactors. We analyzed the parameter changes of the DC smoothing reactor within the range of 0 to 3 times the rated current to ensure that the iron core does not become magnetically saturated when the current passing through the DC smoothing reactor is 3 times the rated current. When the rectifier element is directly short circuited, the current passing through the DC smoothing reactor is much greater than the rated current. If the iron core of the DC smoothing reactor experiences magnetic saturation, the DC smoothing reactor will lose its current limiting effect. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that when the current exceeds the rated current, the iron core of the DC smoothing reactor will not be magnetically saturated. The silicon steel sheet of the DC smoothing reactor is made of cold-rolled high permeability products, and the copper tube is T2 extruded copper tube wrapped with high-strength mica tape, with H-grade insulation. In order to reduce the working noise of the DC smoothing reactor, a special fastening process is adopted for the silicon steel sheet, and a dedicated buffer sound-absorbing material is also filled between the silicon steel sheet and the air gap.
